As to my background with Reiki...

About 15 years ago, I was attuned to Reiki I & II by Helen Borth of Milwaukee, a Master of the Usui tradition and a powerful woman! She is of what you'd call the "$10,000" school. Charged several persons that amount for the Reiki III (Mastery) attunement. I didn't get Level III from her. Just I & II.

Was attuned to Reiki III more than eight years ago by Kathleen Milner, then of Milwaukee -- at Ishpiming near Manitowish Waters, WI. She is also of the Usui tradition and another powerful woman who has made Reiki and other high forms of transcendent energy work her career. Among her many accomplishments: Produced a video on Reiki. Has a newsletter in which she shares new concepts, reports her wide-ranging activities, and a stream of powerful symbols. I also traded with Ranga Premaratne of Ceylon, another powerful Reiki practitioner. For years, friends raved about his powerful Reiki energy. (He left Madison years ago.) I traded with him, and received additional benefit in that he re-attuned Gloria, my wife, to Reiki Mastery (Level III). He thought her energy could be augmented over previous attunements. She then shared with me. We live and sleep together, and frequently "tune" each other.

I've also worked closely over the years with other Reiki Masters in Madison:

* Robert Threlfall, who for several months sponsored a weekly exchange of persons interested in Reiki. Gloria and I attended. Robert also started creating a book on Reiki and asked if my hands could be photographed to illustrate basic positions. Photos were taken in a "shoot" one evening.

* Scott Jordan. We worked together several times, after he led sweat lodges.

* Ken-Adi Ring, long-time dear friend and consummate "new age" organizer in Madison. It was he who brought Helen Borth to our area several times over the years. Helen ranks with Premaratne as most-powerful Reiki Masters I first knew. After our attunements, Helen worked with us at three four-day Memorial Day Mother Earth Festivals about 12 years ago. Our Reiki energies grew!

Other healing practices augment my Reiki and healing energies:

* Reiki synergizes with Body Electronics, which I believe is the most powerful natural healing system on earth. Since 1987, Gloria, my wife, and I have been engaged in this intense program at least bi-weekly. The purpose is to work back through suppressed mental, emotional, and physical "stuff." We saturate nutritionally (enzymes, colloidal minerals, the array of natural vitamins, essential amino acids, and essential fatty acids). And then hold each other's calcified, crystalized reflex points with the intention of loving any pain as they dissolve over perhaps two hours' pressure on the same points. We welcome pain as a catalyst to help us remember what we've suppressed mentally and emotionally. Negativity clears from unconsciousness!

Spiritual and energetic Reiki channels open more fully.

* Some call me "Mr. Synergy" of mind/body work. The list of modalities that I now integrate, which you'll find elsewhere on this web site, exceeds 40. Most powerful:

* During a 15-hour daily schedule, I do hands-on auric and bodywork an average of six or seven hours most days. Many hours' work help build and enhance Reiki energies! Have now facilitated at least six attunements, starting in the fall of 1998. They've become very powerful. Practice makes perfect.

* How I started facilitating attunements: Having worked as a Reiki Master for about 15 years, the thought of attuning others had occurred to me. In the fall of 1998, a client asked if I would facilitate her Reiki I attunement. After contemplating her invitation for at least a week, I said, "YES." Then began more than two months of serious preparation, including: * Reviewing copious notes and several books to create what would for me become the best attunement form possible. * Meditating and praying daily. That form has further evolved with the practice of each presentation.
