A Few Things Are Worth a Million DollarsReiki Is Surely OneOur Human Spirit Quests…For transcendence once needs for food, shelter, and physical security are mostly met. Our materialistic culture doesn't satisfy millions of us who seek higher consciousness and connection with Spirit in continuing times of peril. We may live in the wealthiest time in human history, but that doesn't support feelings of joy and love. Scrambling as we often do may weaken us. We disagree with our involvement in quagmires of world conflict. In our Heart, we sense that the real enemy is our collective unconsciousness. I Sought Daily Spiritual Practice…To complement my Christianity -- something to practice to break out of frustration, anxiety, powerlessness, poor health, and lack of fulfillment. I wanted to serve others! I found Reiki to be a powerful form of natural healing that anyone can learn, because one doesn't learn it. It is received as a Spiritual gift. It entered modern times because Mikao Usui, a Japanese born in 1865, wondered why Christian and Buddhist leaders had lost the power to heal miraculously, as Jesus and Buddha had done. In a quest that lasted 28 years, he discovered Sanskrit texts from 2,500 years ago, describing the power to heal, and he wanted the power! The Story of His Empowerment…Weaves through his fasting, meditating and praying atop Mount Kuri Yama for 21 days. Nothing happened until, in a fateful moment, he was struck in the forehead by a bolt of lightening. That launched him into a total feeling of euphoria. He was in… La La Land! Descending from the mountain, he had supernatural healing power! I personally experienced something similar. In 1981, while under great duress, I experienced what I imagine in India is called a Kundalini awakening. I had sat down to study at the Univ. of Wisconsin Memorial Library when a huge bubbling of energies smacked my every cell, setting my brain on fire and confirming that I was on the right path! It filled me with an ecstasy that lasted for days … actually, maybe that's why I still feel a bit goofy from time to time. I have never taken drugs. I'm guessing that it was as good as any chemical without any negative aftereffects. My life shifted profoundly that day. I've been vibrating at high frequency ever since. That's the point of Reiki. You'll be attuned by a Reiki Master in the Usui lineage who is vibrating at high frequency. Your life will change for the better. While it won't be the end of trials and tribulations, your problems won't affect you as before. You may lose much reactivity to negative circumstances, and become more loving, joyful, powerful, healthy and… It is for you to decide what else your Heart desires. Many Things Are Special about Reiki!And hopefully, many things are special about how I facilitate Reiki attunements! I've been a Reiki Master since the 1980's - about the time of my Kundalini experience -- and have led attunement groups since the autumn of 1998. I hope to provide you with an unforgettable day of transformation. Each Attunement Goes…From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and features a life-transforming production. My own Reiki I Attunement was awesome. My Reiki II Attunement was anti-climactic, over in about 60 minutes. I barely felt my Reiki III Attunement, probably because I was already in high energy. Guarantee: You will feel your attunement and if you don't, come to a similar attunement at no extra cost. The Attunement Is the Focal Event…For each day's attunement, whether for Reiki I, II, or III. Since I'm the OM-FREE guy, I'll also want to facilitate your personal healing. We'll work with a pendulum at the beginning and end of the day, to document changes that happen in your energy patterns. It is interesting to observe how each person shifts in the chakras responsible for consciousness, power, joy, love, freedom, intuition, and enthusiasm. We feel it, and see it, too! I've Learned to Spend…Several hours to support deep relaxation before doing an attunement so your chakras are open and you are energetically receptive to receiving and feeling the attunement! I can feel when you get the attunement. We'll pour on the Reiki until you feel it! Reiki Students…Who were attuned by some masters sometimes tell me that they weren't motivated to practice doing what they learned. To be of full value, hopefully you will want to develop your Reiki. Please don't take a program that offers Reiki I, II, and III on successive days. It is important to work with Reiki I for at least a month before doing Reiki II. Work with that, and you'll know when it's time to do Reiki III.
